About Jeane

As Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Peabody Energy, Jeane was responsible for the global technical services and supply chain management support for Peabody’s global platforms, at its peak a $20 billion company. Jeane currently serves as a Director for Interfor, a leading global lumber supplier; Epiroc, a global supplier of equipment and technology products for mining, infrastructure and the natural resource sectors; and Pretium, an intermediate gold producer. Prior to joining Peabody, she served as the Chief Operating Officer for Kennecott Utah Copper, a subsidiary of mining and metals giant Rio Tinto. Jeane currently serves on the University of Wyoming - School of Energy Resources Council and on the Advisory and Foundation Boards for South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Jeane graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a BS in Civil Engineering, holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and was a was a registered professional engineer.
